The third number is created by adding the two previous numbers- one and one- which makes two. The fourth number is created by adding the previous two- one and two- making three. This sequence can continue indefinitely. Every number is simple an addition of the previous two numbers. So while the addition never becomes difficult, remembering which numbers came before can be challenging.

How to Calculate with This System

The basic formula for the first number is 0+1=1. For the next number, you just change the “=” sign at the end of the equation into a “+” sign to get your next number. That makes 1+2=2. Putting the System into Practice

You would only use the Fibonacci system to bet on even money, which means you only get to use it in games that allow bets on even money. You would start using the betting sequence only when you lose the first bet. If you are on a winning streak, you don’t use the system. You can keep up the system indefinitely, and how long you use it will depend on your bankroll. If your bankroll is limiting you from using the system at one game, you may want to find another game more accommodating that uses a smaller minimum bet. Of course, the casino you are at may limit how much you can bet. The limit could be imposed by table or by game.

You can use this system to gain back losses made over the short term. Long-term losses are not so easily recouped with this system.

How It Compares to the Martingale System

If you are using the Fibonacci system, you won’t need the size of bankroll required for the Martingale system. If you were using the Martingale system, you would have to place your bets on rounds you win and lose, but the Fibonacci system makes no betting requirements of you if you are winning. This allows you to conserve your money a little better.
