The Fibonacci betting system uses a series of numbers that actually holds its own history. The system is named after Leonardo of Pisa, who was more commonly called Fibonacci. The betting system is based on Fibonacci’s original sequence. But no math expertise is necessary to understand it or put it into practice. All you have to do is comprehend the basic number sequence being used and the simple addition that goes into creating it. The sequence begins with the first number, which is one, getting added to zero. That addition creates the second number, which is also one. The third number is created by adding the two previous numbers- one and one- which makes two. The fourth number is created by adding the previous two- one and two- making three. This sequence can continue indefinitely. Every number is simple an addition of the previous two numbers. So while the addition never becomes difficult, remembering which numbers came before can be challenging.
The basic formula for the first number is 0+1=1. For the next number, you just change the “=” sign at the end of the equation into a “+” sign to get your next number. That makes 1+2=2. You can just continue doing this for each number. This is a great way for visual learners to create an image of the process in their mind.
You would only use the Fibonacci system to bet on even money, which means you only get to use it in games that allow bets on even money. You would start using the betting sequence only when you lose the first bet. If you are on a winning streak, you don’t use the system. You have to wait until you lose a round to put the system into effect.
Once you lose a round, you bet a single unit. That continues to the next round, when you bet another unit. You only continue with the system until you win. The third loss requires that you bet two units. Here is an example of the system in use up to 89 units:

You can keep up the system indefinitely, and how long you use it will depend on your bankroll. If your bankroll is limiting you from using the system at one game, you may want to find another game more accommodating that uses a smaller minimum bet. Of course, the casino you are at may limit how much you can bet. The limit could be imposed by table or by game.
You can use this system to gain back losses made over the short term. Long-term losses are not so easily recouped with this system.
If you are using the Fibonacci system, you won’t need the size of bankroll required for the Martingale system. If you were using the Martingale system, you would have to place your bets on rounds you win and lose, but the Fibonacci system makes no betting requirements of you if you are winning. This allows you to conserve your money a little better.
